Each spring I wait with eager anticipation for the arrival of fresh cut Ranunculus at my local markets. Ranunculus are one of my favorite flowers to paint. in addition to how their color excites my senses, they seem to have a sense of movement. From how their round, pointed buds either reach for the sky or dip to the ground, and to how each bud seems to have its own personality, I do not tire of this wonderful flower.
